True North has won three prizes in competition at the Cherbourg Festival of British and Irish Films: Best Film; the Young People's Jury Award for Best Film; and Best Actress for Angel Li in her first-ever cinema role. Our warmest congratulations to Angel!

True North is nominated for BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Film, Best Director (Steve Hudson), Best Screenplay (Steve Hudson) and Best Actor (Martin Compston).
